POLICIES

To ensure the safety of all students, please read and follow the following policies, procedures and protocols from Studio XIV.


1) All dancers must sign our liability waiver before their first class.


2) We will not allow any discrimination, bullying or belittling in our studio or community (as always) because of sex, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, mental illness or ability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, sex characteristics, religion, creed, individual political opinions, or vaccination status. We are an inclusive community, and that is a top priority.

3) We reserve the right to deny access to any individual whose presence may compromise the comfort, safety, or well-being of our dancers, staff, or community members. We will not allow anyone to make our community as a whole, or anyone within our community, both in studio or online feel unsafe -- including but not limited to: personal messaging, social media, e-mails, & in studio conversations. You may be declined entry to classes or banned from Studio XIV if you do not abide by this policy. 

 

4) No outdoor shoes. Bring a clean pair of shoes that are geared for dancing. This will help keep our floors safe and clean for all dancers.

5) Registration for classes and programs: Must be completed through our online system. Walk-ins will still have to complete online registration before entering class. Drop in classes must be paid in full in order to attend class.

6) HST (13%) is applied to all purchases made via credit card, debit card, and e-transfer.

7) Cancellation & Refund Policy:

All sales are non-refundable.

Please cancel with 24 hours notice for a credit. Credits have a 3 month expiry unless otherwise stated.

Late and day of cancellations cannot be credited under any circumstances.

Arriving 15 mins or more late to a class will result in denied entry, with no credit or refund.

 CLASS PASSES â€‹

All class passes expire 3-9 months after the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated in a promotion.​

No extensions, refunds or credits after purchase.

Class passes may be transferred to another student if you are no longer able to attend classes.​

A purchase of a class pass entitles you to 2 free day-of cancellations for the duration of your pass. Any additional day-of cancellations will be tracked and deducted from your pass.

FOR PROGRAMS

Cancellation & Refund Policy:​ Once registration closes for a program, there are no refunds or credits available. You have until registration closes for a partial to full credit, dependant on the case.

Attendance: If a member misses more than 2 rehearsals, we reserve the right to remove the member from specific parts of the program or the entire program after review. (ie. a removal from a dance in the performance program)

REFUNDS & CREDITS

Unless otherwise stated on the service or product purchased, our policy is:

- No Refunds on Drop In Classes

- Credits are available for Drop In Classes if Studio XIV is notified more than 24 hours in advance of class

- 25% Fee for Refunds on Training Programs - available until end of program date (show day)

- All other Refunds are subject to a 15% processing fee
